How will hypnotherapy help?
We actually have more control than we believe we have, and we know that smoking is a cause of mental and physical stress.  When we fly in a plane, go to sleep at night, or undergo an operation, we are quite able not to smoke.  The subconscious mind knows that smoking then is not an option.  The mind can be reprogrammed, and we can be enabled to do, from now on, what we want to do in our conscious mind.

Fear can be caused by something external, which you fell you need to avoid e.g. driving on a motorway, or it could be some negative emotion that triggers your fear.
  • Phobia is much more extreme, and affects around one in ten people. 
  • One of the most common phobias is around spiders

We introduce relaxation techniques in the session, and for practice at home.  When you have become really used to going into deep relaxation, then we work on your particular issue using a technique called Rewind to take the emotional arousal from the situation.
A specific phobia is generally dealt with in four sessions, whereas if you have fear in many areas of your life this will take longer to treat effectively.  At your initial consultation we will plan a strategy for dealing with your problem, and ridding you of the limitations on your everyday life.

Poor self- esteem can limit us from achieving our potential, and stand in the way of our achieving real happiness in life.
