Hypnosis is a state of focused attention, very similar to daydreaming or being so absorbed by the book you’re reading you almost lose track of time. Think of the feeling of being ‘lost in thought’. In hypnosis you’re awake, aware, and in control, just more inwardly focused.

Hypnotherapy is how that state is used therapeutically, a qualified hypnotherapist uses hypnosis to help with things like anxiety, changing unwanted habits, confidence, phobias, or stress. Hypnotherapy and hypnosis are collaborative so this is always with your consent and you decide what changes you want to make to be the best version of you.

No mind control, no being ‘out of it’ Just working with your mind in a calm, purposeful way.
