“You know why it’s hard to be happy?
It’s because we refuse to LET GO of things that make us sad.”

This is a quote from Bruce H Lipton, father of the science of Epigenetics, who is an amazing teacher, connecting science and life. When I think about that quote, I wonder, why would it be so hard to let go of what makes us sad?

Firstly, I guess change always seems to be hard for individuals. We do what we did yesterday. It’s easier that way. Or it seems to be, day to day. Our lives are built on habits.

Letting go? Well, that can be scary. If I let go of what I’m used to, what will fill its place? How do I know the new thing is going to be better?

Perhaps we don’t even know what ARE the things that make us sad? Perhaps they’re in our unconscious mind. If they’re in our unconscious mind how can we access them? Perhaps they were laid down in our early years, and are learned patterns from our parents and teachers.

What other reasons do you believe might make it hard for us to let go of what makes us unhappy? If you want to explore being happier, why not get in touch. I believe when we’re ready, we CAN make those changes. Contact me on 0783 787 6901
